Learn to SEW with us! We got this! 


 The NewBEE class is a series of projects designed to introduce you to a variety of techniques in the sewing and quilting world while preparing you for the next level. By the time you complete the course you will have sewn a zipper bag, quilted mug rug, a half apron and a pin cushion. In addition you will sew an itty bitty tissue holder on day one to practice straight stitching. You will have the chance to experience learning from all of our teachers during one course; each one teaching you her specialty.

Your will master the following:

-rotary cutting
-reading patterns
-navigating sewing machine
-learn how to put in a zipper
-work with stabilizers
-seam allowances
-threading a machine
-straight stitch/decorative stitches
-how to sew a quilt block
-how to create a pocket
-work with batting
-learn to work with sewing notions
-and more....

Materials needed will be listed here soon. You will also not need a sewing machine. All machines are provided so that we can all learn navigating one machine vs. a variety of machines in the class. Our goal is to learn to sew.
